Marty Wins At Chatham's Fast Trax Speedway
|
|

July 24th- Saturday evening Marty
Hargroder piloted his PMP chassis to his first SOW6 feature presented Tango Transport of the year. If anybody knows
how hard it is, this is the man who's paid the price this year! In his path before saturday he's left several
tanked motors and a toter on the side of the road... but not this week. Marty was chased to the stripe by current point
leader Aaron Reutzel and Travis Elliot.
Hargroder has been a constant force to be reckoned ever since he
came onto the SOW6 scene. More times than not this year he's been up front, only to encounter problems handing him
a few DNF's. But after saturday, all looks to be good as the Opelousas, Louisiana driver looks to add another in
the win column.

Showtyme Racing Back Up And Running
|
|
June 25th- And that includes both the website and the on track
performance! After some server issues, the Showtyme Racing website
is back online. As for Marty and his #1 PMP chassis, things look better each time he hits the track.
With a heat win under his belt and a fifth-place finish at Ark-La-Tex Speedway on June 10th, Marty looks to have to
have shook the gremlins loose. The early portion of the year saw motor after motor going up in smoke, but persistence
and confidence in his builder have prooved to be the key. Marty's next event is a double-header weekend at 67 Texarkana Speedway and Southwest Arkansas
Super Speedway on July 6th and 7th.

East Bay tougher this time around
|
|
February 4th- This weekend
Marty traveled to Florida for East Bay Raceways 31st Annual Winter Nationals. Each night over 40+ cars signed in for
what proved to be a stout field at the 1/3 mile track. Looking to pick up where he left off in November, Marty made
the transfer to the main friday and saturday. Although he was in the big show both nights, he was credited with
27th on friday with mechanical problems, and then 25th with a blown powerplant saturday evening.

Hargroder wins at East Bay!
|
|

November 4th- Louisiana's Marty Hargroder became the first Louisiana driver
to win East Bay Raceway Park's Fall Brawl (600's) this evening.
Marty started second-row outside at the drop of the
green but didn't wait long to challenge for the lead. The competition was tough as Hargroder could pull along
side Greg Syler for the lead but unable to negotiate the pass. Syler ran with dominating fashion all evening and kept
Marty at bay until the final three laps. With two laps to go on a slick track, Hargroder found the opening he was looking
for as he grabbed the lead and and never looked back.
